Customer setup guide
From zero to green flag.
Mileage Sync is still in active beta, but setup should feel predictable. Follow these steps in order and verify each signal before starting a full session.
- 01
Create your account
Use one Mileage Sync account for the Windows app and website. Verify your email, then sign in.
- 02
Install the Windows app
The beta installer will appear here in Phase 4. For now, existing beta testers can continue using their current installation.
- 03
Choose a tracking source
Select RaceLab OCR, the built-in odometer, or iRacing telemetry. Telemetry can add car, session, lap, shift, and fuel context.
- 04
Configure your display
Choose miles or kilometers and gallons or liters. If using OCR, select the odometer region and test the reading before driving.
- 05
Connect Google Sheets if wanted
Add your Sheet ID and service-account file, share the sheet with that service account, then run Test / Repair Sheets.
- 06
Start the worker and drive
Confirm the worker is healthy, the expected car is displayed, and the odometer value looks right before joining the session.
- 07
Finish and review
Use Finish Race / Sync Now when needed, then review the local Race Log and Car Totals. Correct suspicious records before they become long-term totals.
More setup help is coming
